You’ll love “Honest Gil.” He hates old people, doesn’t do the job he was elected to do, and pays people to pretend they like him. Oh, yeah – and he wants your money.
Ok, so the only thing you’ll actually love about this satirical Senate candidate is that he’s honest; he’s not the kind of character you’d want to see leading our country.
But the folks who created him – Represent.Us – make a good point.
Too many politicians are willing to say and do whatever they can to get elected, that we end up electing people who care about nothing but themselves and spend their entire term working toward their next campaign.
Don’t let phony political ads determine whom you vote for; there’s much more to a person than the ego trip they give in a 30-second campaign spot.
